About John Mick My photography experience goes back a long way. I financed much of my college education photographing weddings for Paul Jordan Studios in Baltimore. Then during thirty years in education I taught photography in both high school and college and continued in wedding and portrait photography as well as photojournalism and fine art. Over the years my photographic and journalistic work has been published in The Sun (Baltimore), Chesapeake Bay Magazine, Eastern Shore Times, Beachcomber and a travel magazine targeting health care professionals. I have also created and published several periodicals on the lower eastern shore Today my photography is focused on two areas. First, family beach portraiture along the beautiful beaches of Ocean City, MD, and Assateague Island. What a beautiful area to make portraits. Second, my fine art images. I have decades of seascape, landscape and wildlife photography made for my own satisfaction and enjoyment This web site contains samples of my work, both sample portraits and portfolios of my fine art.
